Arctic Edge Ltd. is a Yukon-based conservation consulting and advocacy company undertaking projects in natural resource management, land use planning, and experiential environmental education. Established, 1983.

Arctic Edge Ltd. is developing a science-based wilderness program for fostering environmental stewardship and responsibility to a market of senior executives in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. The company is seeking an experienced field scientist to help design, implement, and lead this program and develop a suite of special topics. The professional we seek will also assist on Arctic Edge consulting projects in the field of conservation biology and land use planning as required.


• The successful applicant will have at the minimum a Master of Science degree in a discipline such as wildlife biology, zoology, bio-anthropology, conservation biology, or forest ecology.
• The applicant should have relevant field experience including relating to executives and scientists in a field-context. At least part of this experience should have been in the Yukon.
• Demonstrated strong writing and speaking skills are essential.
• Experience collaborating with First Nations preferred.
• Professional network with scientists and executives an asset.
