Job Description/Duties:
• Infant/toddler Early Childhood Education worker
• Ensure children's safety: be aware of possible risk of injury Identify and eliminate potential dangers all times
• Bathing, changing diapers, pushing 6-seater strollers, communicating with parents on child's progress
• Ensure children's proper development: be aware of children's developmental stages, not just the chronological ages. Set clear, consistent limits for them, keeping their developmental stage in mind
• Maintain cleanliness with broom, rugs, bleach water spray
• Establish and carry out a daily activity schedule that incorporates child-directed activity, care routines and transition times.
• Design and execute daily circle time activities suitable for the group's interest and development stage
• Assist children in expressing themselves by singing songs, telling stories or pretending play
• Plan and carry out experiences that foster an understanding of a variety of cultures and value systems.

Requirements/Qualifications:
• Child Care Level 3 in Yukon (Early Childhood Certificate/Diploma or related course is required)
• Fluent in English (speaking/reading/writing)
• Basic Security Clearance, Criminal Record Check, First Aid Certificate, Immunization Record, Medical Exam, Tuberculosis Test, Level III from CCS
• At least 1 year working experience in licensed child care centre as infant/toddler main teacher
