The Administrative Assistant candidate registry is an on-going posting to pre-certify candidates into AR05-AR10 classification levels. Departments across government use the candidate registry to fill vacant Permanent, Term, Auxiliary-On Call, and Casual positions across all Yukon communities. Only successful pre-certified candidates have the opportunity to apply on positions when posted.
How to become pre-certified
Learn about the Government of Yukon's application process by visiting Yukon.ca. Review the essential qualifications below prior to applying.
Screened-In applicants participate in a written assessment that consists of: Microsoft Word, Excel, and spelling and grammar. An oral interview is mandatory.
Applicants that live in Yukon communities are able to use computers and space at the public library.
Pre-certified candidates are contacted through the E-recruitment system when job postings become available that they are qualified for. At this time pre-certified candidates need to demonstrate their experience for the posted position that interests them.
Candidates remain active on the registry for 12 months (1 year) from the month of their certification.
